ABOUT SKILL NZ
Founded in 1993, Skill New Zealand is an NZQA-registered and accredited private training establishment based in Manukau, South Auckland.
Since 1993, Skill New Zealand has helped learners from diverse backgrounds and at different stages of their education develop practical skills for their future.
We provide English language programmes, including ILN ELT, PELT and NZCEL, and Health and Wellbeing programmes designed to support pathways into employment and further study.
Our purpose is to make high-quality education accessible, regardless of a learner’s background or previous experience. Through practical teaching and personalised support, we help learners build the skills, knowledge and confidence to contribute meaningfully within their chosen industry and wider community.
We aspire to be a leading education provider in Aotearoa New Zealand. To achieve this, we remain committed to innovation, relevant learning and quality teaching that benefits our learners, stakeholders and the communities we serve.
Skill New Zealand is registered and accredited by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA).

WHY SKILL NEW ZEALAND?
At Skill New Zealand, learning is shaped around the individual needs and aspirations of our learners.
Our small, fully resourced classes create a supportive environment where every learner can be seen, heard and encouraged. Our caring and knowledgeable tutors bring valuable professional and lived experience to the classroom and are committed to helping learners thrive during their studies and beyond.
Integrity, creativity, courage, passion and acceptance are at the heart of Skill New Zealand. These values guide how we teach, support our learners and contribute to the communities we serve.
Our campuses provide welcoming spaces where learners can study, connect and build relationships with people from across Skill New Zealand. Communal study areas and shared spaces encourage interaction and help create a strong sense of belonging.
Our learning environments are practical, professional and designed to help learners feel supported throughout their studies.
I have intentionally removed the community-facilitation statement because it appears to relate to the discontinued Youth Work programme.
