PELT
This programme is an English literacy and numeracy course designed for migrants who are looking to develop their speaking, writing, reading and listening skills.
Graduates of this programme will gain basic but fundamental skills to improve their English communication, and will be more comfortable and confident in settling into wider New Zealand society.
Skill NZ is an approved PELT tertiary education organisation.
PROGRAMME CONTENT:

Teachers use approved resources for PELT students.

Teachers consider the students’ needs for learning English language skills, and then choose study material from various reference resources, and prepare integrated materials to meet study goals and the needs of learners.

Teachers provide free copies of the course materials.
DELIVERY OPTIONS:
The programme lessons are flexible to suit the individual learner. The course is taught two days a week, two hours per lesson.
