YOUTH WORK

Our Youth work programme is intended for people who intend to develop their skills, knowledge and practice within the youth work sector. People will learn how to be youth workers who have the operational and theoretical knowledge, skills and attitudes to contribute to the development and safety of taiohi. On the programme students will learn how to carry out youth work roles under managerial supervision and guidance; and how to support the social and cultural aspirations of Maori and Pacific people(s) and demonstrate their commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through their interactions with taiohi and their communities and their work.
